Travel & culture
School-sponsored educational trips, civic learning, language and cultural experiences, museums, historic places and other qualifying travel.
WOLF Scholarship is preparing its 2027 scholarship program to help eligible K-12 students participate in enriching educational experiences that expand what they can see, do and imagine.
WOLF's initial emphasis is on qualifying enrichment opportunities connected to a student's education. These experiences can turn lessons into lived experience and create confidence that lasts long after a trip, competition or event ends.
School-sponsored educational trips, civic learning, language and cultural experiences, museums, historic places and other qualifying travel.
State and national competitions, leadership conferences, academic programs, career and technical experiences and similar opportunities.
Opportunities that help students discover careers, communities, ideas and possibilities that may not be readily available close to home.
Final WOLF application rules will follow federal law, Treasury and IRS guidance and WOLF's published scholarship criteria. The federal program generally requires an eligible K-12 student and household income within the applicable statutory limit.
A school, district or trip sponsor contacts WOLF so the educational opportunity can be reviewed before families apply.
Once the opportunity is accepted for WOLF consideration, eligible students and families receive instructions for applying.
WOLF reviews each student's eligibility and application under uniform, published criteria.
Scholarship funds are paid to the school, district or approved provider whenever practicable.
WOLF approval of a trip or program means the opportunity may be considered for scholarship funding. It does not guarantee an award to any individual student, and all awards remain subject to eligibility, available funds and final program rules.
Ask the school or trip sponsor to contact WOLF first so the opportunity can be reviewed.
